I'm Learning To Breathe...In....Out...
JUST A NOTE, PLEASE READ THIS OUTSIDE IN A FAVORITE SPOT! ;-)
How nice that Switchfoot's song, "I'm Learning To Breathe" came in just as I was breathe in and out... Sound silly?
After weeks of telling people I should start writting more, I just do the opposite so today I decided to make up for it.
After weeks of cracking the books open, it is now time to crack them wider for exams, yeah! NO! I've decided that the library is my new home and have been there everyday till close(most of the time),better yet, I'm on my way there now. :) In the midst of all this, people want to do so many things with me...or there are just some things that have to be done despite what finals I'm taking. It's overwhelming, and it's more than I can take at times. Yet, at the same time I know I have a God who is with me. Teaching me to take it easy. So I've decided it's okay to take a break from studying to enjoy my chocolate milk. I must admit it taste nice. :)
No matter what we have planned that we HAVE TO DO, I feel like it's important just to stop and listen. You hear that? I know! It's silence, it's the birds chirping!(which by the way, we had a live bird flying up and down the hall in our dorm this morning...cardinals!), anyways, can you hear the sound of the wind as it blows? If there is wind anyways! Silence that separates us from the business of life, breathe in and out and know that God is with you. Breathe in and out and realize that it's okay to smell the roses, your chores will still be there when you finish. Breathe and describe this scene in front of you that you have only flashed a look at! It changes daily so no need to change locations unless you want too. Can we take the time to know that God is!
Now as my silence is coming to a end, I know that God is with me, and no matter how many test I do, God is with me. What a comforting thought! I like this thought. So have a good day, and remember it's okay to learn to breathe...don't want you to suffocate or anything!
