Hello! Hello! My name is Jacob Williams and I want to share with you a little about my life and how great my God is! I am a freshman at Carter High School, which is the most country high school around! Anyways here we go! It all begins before I was even born! When my mother and father got the surprising news that they was going to have another child they were totally stunned! They went to the doctor and the doctor said that they were going to have a little girl! Shocker I know right? Well, my father from being from a Primitive Baptist background started to pray and seek the lord over me! One day the holy spirit spoke to my dad and said that they was not going to have a little girl like they thought, but a son and he was supposed to be called Jacob! So, the day came when I was born into this wonderful world we live in and I was raised in a Christian home! When I was still young my parents visited a lot of the churches around the Knoxville area. When all of a sudden my grandmother became very ill! It changed our whole entire perspective on church and the way of life! We were in desperate place during that time. Until one day my mother heard on the radio about these healing crusades at Trinity Chapel! We ended up going to one of these meetings! My mother and grandmother was both raised Baptist and Church Of God however, my father was not the case! When he went it absolutely scared him to death because of what all was going on, but the Holy Spirit lead him and taught him that this was him moving! This ended up becoming our home church! Where I was raised and taught!
Eventually when my grandmother died, and we slowly stopped coming to church! With me being public schooled instead of home schooled I faced the world in strong and different ways then a lot of home schooled kids would! However, there was still something that made me different from a lot of the younger kids! I would always build churches, draw churches, or even pretend to preach funerals! All of my teachers would say he is going to be either a preacher or an architect! Also, my family back ground is full of pastors and preachers! I would always get prophesied to that I was going to be a preacher or pastor!
Later on, when I was about to go middle school we decided to go back to Trinity and once again be a part of the wonderful family that they are! When came back, we became really good friends with the lead pastors at that time! This is the turning point! One day when I went to their house and I was asked if I was a part of their youth group and I wasn’t! Well she got me plugged in! I grew up with a lot of the kids in the youth group, but hardly any of them remembered me! Once I came back they started to remember who I was! Thank you Jesus! One Sunday the Holy Spirit swept through that church and it really fell on me and I got baptized in the Holy Spirit! My life was never ever the same again!
From that point on into today God has impacted me and put a huge burden upon my heart to awaken his people! He has given me a gift to preach, teach, and even prophetically do both! He has given me so many opportunities to share his gospel and many people have gotten saved! I am so humbled and in awe of what all he has done! It is all by the grace of God that I have been saved! I am totally a sinner saved by grace! Without him I am nothing! I believe that God has a mighty calling upon everyone’s lives and a lot of people know that he does! However, Christians don’t let him be the musician and us the instrument! They would rather have it the other way around! Here is my encouragement! Be the instrument that you are called to be, and your strings will never break for the one who created universe is playing your strings! Thank you Jesus!
