For many women in India and other parts of the world, they have had to overcome many challenges within centuries. I feel like these women are completely misunderstood in religion, culture, and life. Our understanding of life in other areas of the world tend to be tinted at times and do not accurately represent that culture, person or the people as a whole.
Now while we may not fully understand certain situations, we can pray and still fight for what's right. The courage and strength to take a stand for others' rights is an important part of life. Now sadly, injustices continue to prevail in our world today, misunderstandings continue to happen, but beauty still shines though as something wonderful, full of courage and strength. Beauty does not dwell on the outside but rather whats on the inside attempting to shine though.
While issues continue to appear in daily life, beauty can be seen in courage and strength to do or say what is right, to have the strength to continue living despite horrendous life situations.

"We will not be satisfied until justice rolls down like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream."
-- Martin Luther King, Jr.

What will we do to help those in need? Not just in India but all over, even in America. Will we continue to scream for justice when all others have stopped or when no one else is doing it?

Right now there are so many different ways we can help others around us. One of those ways is by sponsoring a child through Compassion International. This organization is taking a stand to help children and families all around the world support themselves and you can be apart of this.
For more information on how you can help you can go to http://www.compassion.com/sponsor_a_child/default.htm

Through this site you can also help create more understanding about other people, and cultures.
