MRHP...The College Years

So for those of you who don't know, I think the title tells all. I am in Collge. Carson-Newman to be exact! Religion major with big dreams. So let's see what happens to them.

I moved in Friday and had orientation till Tuesday and I must say it didnt' prepare me for classes. It seemed almost like camp. A camp usually comes to an end so for this not to end was devastating. Classes started yesterday and as I went from class to class, it finally hit me the last day of class. I thought I was going to break down and sob in Writing & Lit. Class! "HOLD IT IN!" my mind seemed to scream and after a sniffle or too I recovered. From there I went to the Forensics meeting and that was a blast meeting everyone was pretty great!
From there I went to hear my friend preach at a church and that's where it hit. Because sitting on the second pew of this church was my brother Jacob....I restrained myself till the very end when I walked him to his car and the tears came pouring...I tried to hide them but he saw.
And right now as I sit here writing this I remember his love and I know I'll be okay. Just as Jacob's love is for me I know that God's is STILL greater! What a thought! Think of the person you love the most and think about how much they love you. That's NOTHING compared to the Most High's love for us. :)

*So thinking about that I am okay where I am. I'm glad I'm here. I know I am suppose to be here. I'm making friends-it's slow but it's coming.
For this I thank God.

I give Him my life, my classes, my dreams. I'll do my best to do my best in each class & I will trust God to do the rest.
