Compassion.....

So.....

Hey, recently I have been thinking about children. (Not that I never do).
But mainly thinking about ways we can help. To make a impact in a child's life.
So I figured I'd let you know about a organization called Compassion International.

Compassion International is in their own words, "Compassion International exists as a Christian child advocacy ministry that releases children from spiritual, economic, social and physical poverty and enables them to become responsible, fulfilled Christian adults.

Founded by the Rev. Everett Swanson in 1952, Compassion began providing Korean War orphans with food, shelter, education and health care, as well as Christian training.

Today, Compassion helps more than 1.2 million children in 26 countries."

I have had the CI banner on my blog for quite some time, but haven't said anything about it.
Guys, we can help the 1.2 million children in 26 countries!!!!!! (Not all at once of course, but one at a time!) How exciting is that?

You could help someone from Asia!

Or The Dominican Republic....Think of the possibilities!

For more information, follow their blog: http://blog.compassion.com/
Or go to their website: http://www.compassion.com/default.htm

There are all kinds of ways to help with Compassion, from monthly sponsoring a child to praying for the organization. Pray and ask God how He would have you get involved.

^Can you think of not being able to feed your children healthy 2-3 meals a day?
It happens.
^Can you think of a child who really wants to go to school(really!) but can't?
It's true.

Find out more about poverty, and how you can help. Let's do it!!!!!

Go to their website or using the banner on the side of this blog sponsor a child!
Get your kids involved!!!! Kids can get involved too!

The first time I heard about Compassion was at some concert(don't remember which one), and they had a table laid out with all the pictures of kids you could sponsor and my heart cried out to help....but I knew I couldn't do it. Trying to save money for college was just to much. But this is how I can help. By giving you the opportunity to know the great stuff Compassion is doing in many countries. These Countries:
