PART 2, PART 2, PART 2, HERE WE ARE AT PART 2!
Hopefully, I haven't bored anyone out yet with my super long blog last time! I think by doing it 2 days at a time we can make it!!!!! What do you think?
REWIND, to Monday, we went and heading to Niagra Falls to help Ms. Joanna at the Rose Cafe where we were doing a list of chores for her. My group helped clean the entire kitchen, from the walls, to the floor, even the oven! We also cooked for dinner that night we had a community dinner for a whole lot of people!
It was fun working together to get things done.
After, rapping up our chores we had lunch, than we started to prepare for our first Kids Klub!!!
I love doing Kids Klubs! I do Kids Klubs here in Knoxville with a group called KICKO(Knoxville Inner City Kids Outreach) and I love getting to know all the kids and just loving on them and telling them about Christ. So to do it in Buffalo was amazing! It was a little different from Knoxville but it was still amazing! We had to go out into the neighborhood and get the kids to come, what a blast!
I was in charge of the skip-it and jump rope contest and that was funny jumping with the kids and laughing with them.
Once all the kids had settled down to listen to the lesson, I headed back in to help get the food heated up for the dinner.
We made things I never had thought of making before:
Goulash
Bread(well, I have thought of this)
Salad(I make this ALL the time!) *Forget what I said earlier about not thinking about making this. ;)
I was put in charge of making a salad and I had the BEST HELPERS. I had Little MacKenzie who is 11 or 12 helping me out and she was great! The determination in that kitchen was phenomenal!
That night we dished out plates and plates.
Many people got saved, and many walked out encouraged.
The night was great.
So great that I think it's a perfect time to end this blog post soon.
*Many people did different things during the day, but it all had one mind in it. To help Ms. Joanna, to show people God's love.
To see Ms. Joanna's heart for her ministries are amazing.
She has a camper with Mary Madelene written on the side and she goes and picks up prositutes and offers to help them. Shows them the love of God. She feeds the homeless.
She reaches out to the next generation through her Kids Klub.
^That night we got to pray for her and her ministry- She thought that we were blessing her. But just getting to meet her and see her heart for the Lord encouraged us.
****I WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!****
1) What kind of ministry would you like to start?/What has God put on your heart?
2)What ministries have you done?
^This is Mrs. Treece(Ms. Ginger), She was amazing in the kitchen. She was so encouraging and lead us in songs and made it a blast!
