Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart And my portion forever. -Psalm 73: 26Today, a simple magnet caught my attention. Today, my mind and my heart did a double take. Today, realization came together with understanding, in order to form a simple tale that I will take the time to tell. "Whom have I in heaven but you?" words written in Psalms clearly from a heart of desparation. The author was so depend on God that he was willing to stand ALONE if needed. It took a magnet with the verse above to remind me, that nothing and noone can satisfy, but Christ. That my God can move mountains yet we tend to rely on man and demand that man move on our behalf. So this week, as I begin my newest journey in school, I want to spend 5 days looking at this verse. 5 days to explore my heart. I hope that as I pour my heart's understandings that you will take this journey with me. Remember that God can use simple methods just as well as complex ones.
