MRHP: The College Years....FIGGY PUDDING? (WHY, HOW, WHO)

Last night I had a realization....
The past 2 weeks have been very very stressful for me with school, life, family, and this ministry. I even was wondering why I got myself into this caroling stuff. Till last night:

I saw kids and adults of all ages sing to older people.
I saw these very same kids and adults minister to them.

The realization...This is why I do it.

No matter how stressful we get in live, let us never forget WHY. Let us never get so caught up on what we need to do that we forget why.
"For Unto Us A Child Is Born."
This Christmas season let us realize that Christ was born! He is here! Here to give us peace and love. Here to help us REALIZE why. Without Christ we can not begin to understand that why.
Last night, I had the opportunity to remember why and WHO.
My one goal in life is to live for Christ with all my heart and soul, but I think sometimes I get so caught up in the how, that I forget why and who. The most important questions need to be asked and REMEMBERED the entire time we do how. Ministry without knowing who and why are pointless.

*This Christmas I encourage you to think about Who and Why you do the things you do...before finally asking how.

*Ask God to help you understand HOW He wants you to minister to others. :)

*And while your at it, let me know what this figgy pudding stuff is that we sing about all the time. Trying to decide if I want some!

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Isaiah 9:6
