YEAH!!!! I've caught up on all my posts in time to relax before college! I move on campus in about a week!
Now back to ministry, I started a organization called MRHP(My Role In His Passion) which basically does a little bit of everything BUT it allows people to do what they feel is their role God has given them. MRHP hasn't really done much But that's ALL about to change!
Here's the set-up,
September 11, I'm taking over a children's service!
At a little church around here I am having a high-energy children's service for a day. This will be my first ministry set-up on my own. I want to thank the pastor Nick for allowing me to come in and do this.
I'm bringing some of the kids for the Knoxville team with me, and allowing them to do some stuff too! It's all about kids, and so kids are going to help with the service.
Wow, I can't believe it's happening. The start of a ministry. Whoosh....
The kids that will be coming with me are amazing, and I look forward to working with them. These kids are on fire for God and have a heart for others. Their roles are all different, but which one important.
Kid's can help lead services! I believe it! Yes, I do believe there should be a structure to everything, the Bible says that everything should be done in a fitting and orderly way.
But I do know that kids have just as much power in Christ as adult do. These kids have laid hands on a little girl who couldn't walk and she got up and walked!!!!!
I believe that as a whole, Christians have limited children(even teens) to a minimum. We teach kids about stuff but expect them to wait till they are teens. And teens? We expect them once a year to go on a trip and do great things then come home and wait till next year. Sometimes even adults are limited due to maybe just getting saved or not grounded as much as another. The disciple started IMMEDIATELY following Jesus after He called them. So can we.
All these kids, I've seen them witness to people and pray for people, and care. Each child in their own way. It's been great. One of my favorite outreaches we have done since Buffalo, was going door-to-door talking to people. Many of the doors I(leading a group of kids) allowed those kids to talk and to lead prayers they loved it! If they love it allow them to do it.
